One of the boldest alto saxophonists working today, and director of jazz at Princeton, brings his trio to a small room. They play fresh, original arrangements of the music that formed him, from Charlie Parker and Sonny Rollins to Ornette Coleman. An early Sunday set in a listening room this intimate is a treat.
