A new feature documentary that follows Resmaa Menakem, Bayo Akomolafe and Orland Bishop as they retrace the transatlantic slave route in reverse, from Los Angeles to Salvador da Bahia to Accra, through ritual, play and conversation about healing. Menakem stays after the film to talk with Repa Mekha, so this is a rare chance to hear one of the leading voices on somatic healing in person.
